Summit County Animal Control enforces leash laws for the unincorporated parts of the County. The Animal Control Dept. also enforces domestic pet regulations related to issues such as loud and barking dogs, dog bites, and dogs running loose. Our dog was picked up by these nice folks when she escaped last year, and we paid $60. to release her from the pound. Sure beats getting hit by a car! They also spay and neuter there.
